The club is also rumored to be adding star forward Neymar from FC Barcelona. Juventus made its way to the final of this year’s Champions League before falling to Real Madrid 4-1. The Italian club has won the past six Serie A championships and is led by goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain (24 goals last season).

REAL MADRID VS. FC BARCELONA

Performances: National anthem by Prince Royce, halftime show by Marc Anthony.

Notable: Perhaps Europe’s greatest rivalry will make its first appearance in the United States on Saturday, marking the first time in 35 years “El Clasico” was played outside Spain. Either Barcelona or Real Madrid has won Spain’s La Liga in 12 of the last 13 years. Real Madrid won both La Liga and Europe’s Champions League last season, but went winless against Barcelona. The clubs tied 1-1 in December and Barcelona won 3-2 in April when Lionel Messi scored two minutes into stoppage time. Messi led La Liga with 37 goals last year. Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo scored 25, though it is unclear if he will play Saturday.

Open practice: The two teams will hold open practices at Hard Rock Stadium on Friday night, with Barcelona starting at 6 p.m. and Real Madrid at 8. Tickets for the practice sessions are much cheaper than Saturday’s game, starting at $20 on elclasicomiami.com. Parking lots will open at 2 p.m. and stadium gates will open at 4:30 p.m.
