Two AT&T fairs to offer 140 jobs

AT&T is looking to fill sales and customer service jobs in South Florida.

The telecommun­ications company on Monday announced it is having two job fairs in August for more than 140 positions, with many based at its Miami call center.

A job fair for the sales and customer service positions will be Aug. 16 at the AT&T Miami Call Center, 600 NW 79th Ave., near Doral. The positions are for bilingual sales representa­tives, bilingual customer service representa­tives and entertainm­ent sales and service consultant­s.

Starting pay for the sales positions is $400 to $751.50 a week, with the potential for salary increases every six months, according to AT&T spokeswoma­n Kelly Starling.

AT&T bilingual customer service representa­tives take in-bound calls, answering questions about products and services, and handle billing inquiries and business transactio­ns. The positions start at $12.62 to $15.86 an hour, and offer a salary increase every six months until top pay is reached, according to AT&T.

AT&T also is hiring for entertainm­ent sales and service consultant­s who can earn on average $70,712, which includes base pay plus commission, Starling said. A hiring event for these jobs is scheduled for Aug. 9 at the Miami call center.
