On-again, off-again Fleetwood Mac guitarist and songwriter Lindsey Buckingham is off again and ready to embark on a solo tour that on Oct. 27 will stop at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami. The tour supports his forthcoming collection “Solo Anthology — The Best of Lindsey Buckingham.”

Tickets go on sale Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. at ArshtCenter.org, and at noon at the box office, 1300 Biscayne Blvd. Minneapolis-based, Kenyan-born singer-songwriter J.S. Ondara will open the show.

A three-time Grammy winner and member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Buckingham is most widely known as the guitarist, vocalist and songwriter who helped give Fleetwood Mac some of its most popular songs, including “Go Your Own Way,” “The Chain,” “Never Going Back Again” and “Tusk.”

Buckingham was fired from Fleetwood Mac in April, reportedly amid friction over an upcoming tour by the band, whose reunion concerts have sold out arenas around the globe. The tour comes to the BB&T Center in Sunrise on Feb. 20. Buckingham was replaced by guitarists Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Neil Finn of Crowded House.

That it took two such esteemed performers to stand in for Buckingham is a testament to his cult generating brilliance as a guitarist, music that fills much of “Solo Anthology,” set for release Oct. 5 in three formats: six vinyl LPs, three CDs or as an abridged single-disc release.

The Rhino Records package will include studio, live and alternative versions of songs from solo albums including “Law and Order,” “Go Insane,” “Out of the Cradle,” “Under the Skin,” “Gift of Screws” and “Seeds We Sow,” as well as music from his 2017 album with Christine McVie.

Also included will be live versions of “Go Your Own Way” and “Tusk,” and two previously unreleased songs, “Hunger” and “Ride This Road.” Yes, he also finds space for his hit “Holiday Road,” from the 1983 Chevy Chase romp “National Lampoon’s Vacation.”

Every ticket purchased for Buckingham’s Arsht Center concert includes the choice of a CD or digital download of the single disc version of the album.
