Veterans Day is Sunday. This calendar includes workshops, activities and Veterans Day events across South Florida.

Veterans Day Ceremony, 10:30 a.m., Veterans’ Memorial Park, 7825 Southgate Blvd., Tamarac. Honor America’s Veterans for their patriotism, love of our country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. Ceremony includes guest speakers, unveiling of Veterans’ Honor Wall, and light refreshments. tamarac.org/231 /Special-Events Veterans Day Ceremony, noon-2 p.m., Pembroke Pines Memorial Park, 601 City Center Way, Pembroke Pines. Honoring members of the United States Military, past and present; presentation of colors by the Pembroke Pines Police and Fire Department Honor Guards, guest speakers from multiple U.S. Services, comments from city officials, and patriotic music played by the Pembroke Pines Charter Middle School West Campus. Commemorative bricks honoring United States military veterans and loved ones will be available for purchase. You can leave a personal message on each brick for the one that holds a special place in your heart. The bricks are installed at the base of the Pembroke Pines Veterans Memorial. Veterans Day Golf Tournament, 1-6 p.m., Davie Golf Club, 8201 Nova Drive, Davie. Benefiting Operation Outdoor Freedom, the veterans support program of the Florida Forest Service and nonprofit Friends of Florida State Forests. Veterans Day ceremony prior to tournament tee off. Entry fee includes golf, lunch, beverages, dinner and participation in course contests and prizes. Format will be a best ball scramble, and individual and team registrations will be accepted.
