Curry out Sat­ur­day with groin strain

Stephen Curry has a mild to moder­ate left groin strain and will miss the War­riors’ home game against the Nets on Sat­ur­day night.

Curry un­der­went an MRI exam Fri­day, but the War­riors will wait a few days to de­ter­mine the sever­ity of the in­jury. Coach Steve Kerr said it doesn’t ap­pear to be sig­nif­i­cant. The two-time league MVP was hurt mid­way through the third quar­ter of Thurs­day night’s 134-111 loss to the Bucks.

Dray­mond Green also will sit Sat­ur­day, the sec­ond straight game he’ll be out with a sprained right foot and toe.

■ Joel Em­biid scored 16 of his 42 points in the fourth quar­ter to help the 76ers beat the Hor­nets 133-132 in OT on Fri­day night in Philadel­phia. Em­biid also fin­ished with 18 re­bounds, and hit a ty­ing 3-pointer with 34.4 sec­onds to go in reg­u­la­tion . ... An­dre Drum­mond had 23 points and 11 re­bounds, Stan­ley John­son added a sea­son-high 22 points and the Pis­tons beat the Hawks 124-109 in At­lanta. The Pis­tons jumped out to a big lead with 40 points in the first quar­ter and fin­ished the game with 20 3-point­ers.
