Snoop, Ronson come to Pegasus
North America’s richest horse race welcomes entertainers.
Once again, the Pegasus World Cup Championship Series at Gulfstream Park will offer top-notch entertainment to go along with one of North America’s premier horse races.
Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg and Golden Globeaward-winning English DJ/musician Mark Ronson headline the performers at trackside club Pegasus LIV Stretch Village, formerly known as Pegasus LIV Boardwalk, in Hallandale Beach on Jan. 26.
The $9 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational is the richest horse race in North America, and the $7 million Pegasus World Cup Turf International is the richest turf race in North America, as well.
“Our focus for the Pegasus World Cup is to deliver an incredible guest experience, one that combines world-class Thoroughbred horse racing with the unique hospitality that you can only find in Miami,” said Belinda Stronach, chairman and president of entertainment and real estate development company The Stronach Group, in a statement. “In order to engage a new generation of fans, we want to offer exciting and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.”
Ronson won a Golden Globe for Best Original Song last weekend as one of four songwriters on Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s song “Shallow” in “A Star is Born.” Snoop Dogg has been one of hip-hop’s premier voices for more than 25 years, since bursting onto the scene in the early 1990s out of Long Beach, Calif.
Last year, rapper Post Malone took the LIV stage for a full-scale concert after an impromptu performance from Atlantabased hip-hop veterans Ludacris and Jermaine Dupri.
Tickets to Pegasus LIV Stretch Village are priced at $75 and can be purchased at pegasusworldcup.com.
