Big employers hiring at job fair on Thursday
25 companies coming to West Palm Beach
Big employers including Amazon, Florida Power & Light Co., Home Depot, Pratt & Whitney and others are scheduled for a job fair Thursday in West Palm Beach.
The job fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Palm Beach Conference Center, 1301 Belvedere Road.
CareerSource Palm Beach County, which is sponsoring the job fair, said it especially encourages veterans and workers who are disabled to attend Thursday’s job fair. Those workers will be given “priority of service” at the job fair from 9 a.m. to noon.
A total of more than 25 employers are scheduled for the job fair also including Hertz, Palm Tran, Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island and Kolter Hospitality, according to the county’s employment agency. There is no cost to attend.
Scheduled employers are hiring for administrative, information technology, hospitality, health care and construction jobs, according to the agency.
