Where to find the best cheap lobster

Is lobster usually too pricey a treat for you? Well, maybe not today because it’s National Lobster Day ( just to make everything confusing for no real reason, there’s another National Lobster Day on Sept. 25).

Boston’s on the Beach

Boston’s will have a buy-one-get-one free deal for two one-pound steamed lobsters for $24.95 (comes with drawn butter, corn on the cob and bliss potatoes) or two classic New England lobster rolls for $23.95 (comes with seasoned fries or Cape Cod chips and a mango slaw). Also, upstairs at 50 Ocean you can get a bowl of lobster bisque for $10.

Dragonfly Izakaya and Fish Market

Dragonfly is offering diners a sushi special of Ise-Ebi, a roll with snow crab, cucumber, tuna, asparagus, avocado, topped with lobster salad and garlic sauce for $27.

This restaurant inside the Newport Beachside Hotel and Resort will offer a white truffle lobster mac and cheese for $15. If you can’t make it on Saturday, then drop by on Wednesday when you can try their weekly lobster madness special with an all-you-can-eat Maine lobster with soup or salad and two sides for $49 per person.

This new eatery in downtown West Palm Beach will offer a butter poached Maine lobster tail over roasted ratatouille with chive oil and drawn butter for $20.

Kelly’s Landing New England Seafood

Every day all month long, you can get a one-pound Maine lobster with one side for $28. You also get a glass of the Landing’s featured wine for this month, which is Tenshen Wines label and includes both a red and white Rhone style blend.

Lobster Bar Sea Grille Miami Beach

From National Lobster Day on Saturday and for the rest of the week, the Miami Beach location of Lobster Bar will have a jumbo lobster for two offer ($99 per couple), which will be a four pound Nova Scotia lobster, de-shelled tableside and dressed with lemon and side of drawn butter. The special also includes a salad, side and dessert.

Morton’s the Steakhouse

If you can wait until June 21-23, all of the SoFlo Morton’s restaurants will have a three-course lobster-centric menu for $69. The offers will include starter, main course and a side with dishes such as lobster bisque, lobster-cargot, lobster thermador and lobster mac and cheese. You can pair the dinners with a bottle of Butter Block, Chardonnay, Santa Maria Valley for an additional $49.
