The two teens stole a car with a gun inside and took off heading north on I-95, CBS 12 reported.

Lauderhill police got an alert from the Boca Raton Police Department that a stolen car was coming up on a GPS tracking system in their city, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

During the chase, a Lauderhill officer crashed into a motorcyclist, CBS 12 reported. The driver of the motorcycle, whose identity has not yet been released, was taken to Martin South Medical Center, where he died around 3 a.m.

They face charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest and grand theft, the Martin County Sheriff ’s Office said.

Both teens were taken to a juvenile detention center in Martin County, said a booking official at the Martin County Sheriff’s Office Department of Corrections.
