See ‘Schitt’s Creek’ tour at Hard Rock
The cast of the cult TV comedy “Schitt’s Creek,” now in its sixth and final season on Pop TV and Netflix, will bring “Schitt’s Creek: The Farewell Tour” to Hard Rock Live at the Seminole
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood on
May 22.
Reserved-seat tickets will cost $155, $100, $70 and $50 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, at MyHRL.com. A venue presale will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday through the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
The event will join fans with “Schitt’s Creek” cast members, including series creators Eugene Levy and son Daniel Levy, for an interactive evening that explores the making of the series with behindthe-scenes footage and stories. Also appearing will be Catherine O’Hara, Annie Murphy, Emily Hampshire and Noah
Reid.
“Schitt’s Creek” follows the rich and pampered Rose family after their wealth suddenly vanishes, forcing them to move into a downtrodden motel in Schitt’s Creek, a small backwoods town they once bought as a joke.
In a lengthy January profile of “Schitt’s Creek” and its four Emmy nominations, The New York Times acknowledged that “thanks to a daffy charm — a winning combination of its characters’ caustic wit and the show’s fundamental warmth — and enthusiastic word-ofmouth support, the series rose from humble origins to the pinnacle of TV acclaim.”
