What: Food Truck Fridays
Food on wheels will be parking in Boca Raton parks.
It’s all part of Food Truck Fridays, in which mobile kitchens gather for foodie fans to enjoy savory and sweet dishes along with live music and lawn games.
When & Where
Food Truck Fridays take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the first Friday of the month throughout parks in Boca Raton.
March 3: at Patch Reef Park, 2000 Yamato Road
April 7: at Sugar Sand Park, 300 S. Military Trail
May 5: at Lake Wyman Park, 1500 NE Fifth Ave.
On the menu
The food and music lineup is subject to change, according to the City of Boca Raton website, but here is what’s planned for the next three months. March 3: Bubbe’s Blintzes, Di Big Jerk, Just Baked, Larry’s Boardwalk Treats, Tacos Veracruz, Cucina Bambina and Travelin’ Bones Barbecue, with live music from singer/songwriter Violet Jeffries
April 7: Heavenly Churros, Kobschie’s Ice Rolls, Best French Fries, Ps561,
Uptown Deli and N.Y.
Phat Pies, with live music from “Singing Sailor” Jim Bowman
May 5: 681 Seafood, DOugh DOugh’s Donuts, Morelia Gourmet Paletas, Tacos Veracruz, Uptown Deli, InspirAsian, with a performance from vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Victoria Cardona

What: Taste at the Track
You know what horse racing needs? Tacos and tequila.
Gulfstream Park will take care of that with the event series Taste at the Track, with a winter edition that puts both the Mexican street food and distilled drink in the winner’s circle.
Hallandale Beach’s thoroughbred horse racetrack, casino and outdoor entertainment/shopping destination will offer all-you-can-eat food and drink stations for this special event on Saturday, March 4, in the third-floor Flamingo Room.
Attendees must be must be 21 and older.
When
Hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 4.

The address for Gulfstream Park is 901 S. Federal Highway, Hallandale Beach.
On the menu
The taco dishes will include Mahi Al Pastor,
Chicharron and Brussel Sprout Crunchy. There will also be stations for
Beef Chimichangas, Nopalitos Salad Bowls, Chicken Flautas, Chorizo Quesadillas, Cheese Refried Beans, Cilantro Rice and Desserts.
The tequila brands will include Volcan De Mi Tierra, Santo Tequila (founded by Guy Fieri, Sammy Hagar), Lunazul Tequila, Tres Agaves, Casa Noble, El Espolòn, Ilegal Mezcal, Cutwater Tequila, Calirosa Tequila, Ghost Tequila, JAJA, Olmeca Altos and Casamigos (founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber, Mike Meldman).
Cost
Tickets are $50 per person. VIP tickets are $75 per person (includes priority seating and an extra hour of food and tastings starting at noon).
