Former “Top Chef ” finalist chef Linsday Autry is once again returning two summertime specials to the menu at The Regional, her restaurant in downtown West Palm Beach.

On special evenings you can try either:

„ ▪ The BBQ-inspired Pig Pickin’ menu with her eastern North Carolina style hickory-smoked pulled pork in either a sandwich or a platter.

The meal comes paired with a choice of classic Southern sides including hand-chopped coleslaw, Brunswick stew, creamed summer corn, collard greens and black-eyed peas, and fried okra. Autry started Pig Pickin’ in 2018.

„ ▪ The table-side and family-style platter of her Low Country Boil with Key

West pink shrimp, Florida clams, sweet summer corn, house-smoked sausage and potatoes served in an Old Bay broth with drawn butter and cocktail sauce. Oh, and you get a bib with this special (that debuted last year) because platter splatter is inevitable.

The menu and costs:

The Pig Pickin’ sandwich on toasted brioche bun, served with hand-chopped coleslaw and choice of one side will be $20.

The Meat N’ Three pulled pork plate served with choice of three sides will be $29.

The menu will also include a la carte specials to go with the Pig Pickin’ summer event: hush puppies for $9; summer peach salad for $16 (add burrata $5); butter lettuce salad for $14 and a Picnic Plate (hickory-smoked sausage, pimento cheese, deviled eggs, boiled peanuts, pickled garnishes, club crackers) for $20.

The Low Country Boil table-side, family-style meal is $32 per person.

The menu will also include she-crab soup for $16, fried oysters for $22 and a classic dessert of North Carolina — which is Autry’s home state — that is often served after a Low Country Boil: Atlantic Beach Pie (lemon curd, sea salt cracker crust, whipped cream) for $9 a slice.

When: Pig Pickin’ – starting at 5:30 pm on Friday, June 2, July 21 and Sept. 1. Low Country Boil – starting at 5:30 pm on Friday, June 16 and Aug. 18.

Where: 651 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach (along the southwest corner of The Square entertainment district).
