The Rise and Fall of Juul Netflix New Series

This addictive, infuriatin­g docuseries charts the origins of the once omnipresen­t electronic cigarettes created by Adam Bowen and James Monsees. From the Stanford pals’ start as self-imagined tech pioneers creating a safer smoking option to the brand’s explosive growth and insidious marketing to youths, Big Vape’s three episodes pack in testimony from former Juul employees and users who aren’t just blowing smoke about their negative experience­s.

This Spanish film follows Ian (Carlos Scholz), a rebellious teenager living on the outskirts of society who can manipulate minds with his ability to generate visual illusions. He uses this power to survive — running small, indiscreet scams. When one of Ian’s cons goes awry, his abilities publicly spiral out of control, and he becomes the target of two rival organizati­ons, each seeking to exploit his powers. Pedro Alonso and María Pedraza also star.

Quantum Leap NBC, 8 p.m.

In “Ben & Teller,” Ben (Raymond Lee) takes on the role of a bank teller in the wrong place at the wrong time during a dangerous armed robbery; Addison (Caitlin Bassett), Magic (Ernie Hudson), Ian (Mason Alexander Park) and Jenn (Nanrisa Lee) come to terms with a shocking discovery; and the team adds a new member.

In “Three Bridges,” Magnum (Jay Hernandez) and Higgins (Perdita Weeks) try to help Zhao, a close friend of Kumu (Amy Hill), recover her life savings after it was all lost to a scammer. Meanwhile, TC (Stephen Hill) becomes increasing­ly frustrated at the lack of progress in his recovery and pushes everyone away.
