Teale earns Del­marva Honor Schol­ar­ship

LEX­ING­TON, VA. — Wash­ing­ton and Lee Univer­sity has cho­sen Richard Thomas “Tucker” Teale of Eas­ton, class of 2022, to re­ceive the Del­marva Honor Schol­ar­ship award.

The Del­marva Schol­ar­ship, equal to the amount of tu­ition, is awarded each year to a stu­dent from the Del­marva Penin­sula. Pro­vided the re­cip­i­ent main­tains a sat­is­fac­tory per­sonal record and an aca­demic av­er­age of at least B (3.0), the schol­ar­ship will be re­newed for each year of the stu­dent’s un­der­grad­u­ate work at Wash­ing­ton and Lee.

Fi­nal­ists in the com­pe­ti­tion are cho­sen on the ba­sis of proven aca­demic abil­ity, su­pe­rior achieve­ment in ex­tracur­ric­u­lar ac­tiv­i­ties and ex­em­plary traits of char­ac­ter.
