TILGHMAN — Virginia White Dyer passed away on Nov.

16, 2018.

Gina “Bug” was born Nov

12, 1955, in Charlottesville, Va., to William Henry and Virginia Rinehar t

White.

She was pre-deceased by her parents; her brother, Steve; and the love of her life, her husband, Phil Dyer.

Gina is survived by her brother Steve’s wife, Ellen (Todd); her siblings, Willie (Nan), Lois Cole (Taylor), Landon (Jan); a niece, Mary Stamps Beebe; nephews, Willie, Tommy and Carter White, Timothy Smith, Steve and Taylor White, Reid and Grady White; and 10 grandnieces and nephews.

She attended St. Margaret’s in Tappahannock, Va., graduated from St. Anne’s in Charlottesville, Va., and attended Radford University.

The happiest times in Gina’s life were those spent with Phil on Tilghman Island in Maryland. She loved their active life on the Chesapeake Bay, was an enthusiastic gardener, enjoyed sewing and doing her own upholstery work. More recently, Gina loved keeping up with her niece, nephews and their children. Her pets were always a huge part of her life, and she loved them all so much!

Gina Bug was a generous, delightful, loving soul. She was very much loved and will be missed by all of us, but we are so happy that she will spend eternity next to Phil, who we also dearly loved.
