Work-related injury puts Easton man in tough position

Sunday Star - - FRONT PAGE -

Eli is a single father living in Easton with his 10-yearold son Lincoln and his 6-year-old daughter Zoey. After a work-related injury that has bound him to a wheelchair, Eli is having a hard time recovering. Some of his family has been trying to help him through his daily routine.

He is recovering slowly from the injury, which means he will not be able to return to work until after the new year. Eli, Lincoln and Zoey will have to survive on savings until then.

Lincoln and Zoey have been helping with responsibilities around the house like taking out the trash, even cooking small meals — but Eli feels bad. With the bills adding up quickly, Eli is asking the community for help so he doesn’t let his children and family down.
