Easton woman charged with disorderly conduct
EASTON — Easton police arrested an Easton woman on Dec. 21 on a disorderly conduct charge.
Police were in the area of South Street near Kelly Gibson Street when a citizen told them about a car parked in a spot designated for people with disabilities. The parked car did not display the required tags, police said.
Officers discovered the car had been parked there by 32-year-old Tykeshia Jenkins, police said. She was contacted and told her car had to be moved, police said. Police issued a parking citation to the vehicle.
According to police, when Jenkins came out to her car and saw the citation, she became angry and started yelling at the officer. She then threw the citation on the road, police said.
Several people had gathered as a result of Jenkins yelling, and she refused to pick up the citation, according to police.
Police said the officer tried to get Jenkins’ information, but she refused to cooperate. She then was arrested and taken to the Easton Police Department.
There, her full identity was obtained, she was issued a criminal citation for disorderly conduct and released, police said.
