SUP Magazine - - 2018 Guide -

After exhaustive R&D with our best riders, F-one introduces the 2018 RACE PRO FLAT WATER. We’re very proud to have team riders like Josh Riccio, who were an instrumental part of designing this board, collect amazing results at some of the most highly contested SUP races in the world. These boards excel in the flats, sustaining a very high pace while seemingly slicing through the water. Two sizes are available: 14’ x 23.5” and 14’ x 25.5”. All-carbon construction.

The 11’6 Touring is an all new shape and size. The value is great and the LW construction makes the board accessible and very light. All MATIRA LW boards are equipped with a double rail band and large traction pad. The difference in quality and technology can be easily seen in the resistance of the materials, the construction, the rigidity and outline of the boards. 5 sizes available: 7’11” foil convertible, 10’6”, 10’8”, 10’8” yoga and 11’6”. Also available in Fusion Tech for 10’6”, 12’6” and 14’.

NOOSA 10’0

The NOOSA 10’0 is a new size in the range, aimed for bigger rider. Longboard style is gaining momentum and the NOOSA is the perfect answer. Length offers both speed and glide, especially when combined with a narrower width, and this greatly improves the takeoff. The moderate width also ensures the board is easy to set on the rail, providing nice acceleration. The rocker line has received a lot of attention to make sure the board glides well but also remains maneuverable when being steered from the back while surfing. Three sizes and two constructions available: 8’6” / 9’0” / 10’0”.

New for 2018, the TAIBA range was created to facilitate the transition from an all-around board. Their size, volume and dimensions keep them very accessible for anyone who wants to get into Sup-surfing but likes to feel stable. The TAIBA shape combines the length needed to achieve easy takeoffs with a round outline and a refined rocker line for maximum efficiency and maneuverability in bottom and top turns. Three sizes available: 8’6” / 8’10” / 9’2”.

The PAPENOO models can be classified as “short SUPS” with a focus on speed, acceleration and maneuverability to rip on smaller waves like never before! This board was an instant success and has been voted BEST surfboard last year. The 8’3” is a new size this year aimed at the bigger rider. The PAPENOO is also the F-one go-to SUP Foil board. PAPENOO models available in two constructions and 5 sizes: 6’10” / 7’3” / 7’7” / 7’11” / 8’3”. The 7’3”, 7’7” and 7’11” are also available as a Foil convertible option.
