FRANCES JOY (MARTH) RICHBURG

Frances Joy (Marth) Richburg, age 83, of Roscoe passed away, Friday, October 23, 2020 at Hoyt Place in Sweetwater. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at First Salem Lutheran Church in Roscoe. Interment will follow at Roscoe Cemetery. McCoy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangemen­ts. WILMA JEAN (HONEY) WEBB

Wilma Jean (Honey) Webb, 95, of Wichita Falls, TX, formerly of Sweetwater, TX, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be at 4 P.M. Friday, October 30, 2020 with Rev. Daniel Norton officiatin­g at the Garden of Memories in Sweetwater. Interment will follow directed by McCoy Funeral Home.

HASKELL E. WILLIAMS

SUNRISE: March 19, 1930 SUNSET: October 24, 2020 Haskell Williams was one of seven children born to the union of Claud Williams, Sr. and Dessie Holly of Kellyville in Marion, County, Texas. At the age of seven, Haskell’s family moved to Sweetwater, Texas where he would remain until he and his brothers entered different branches of the United States Armed Services.

Haskell enlisted in the military in March of 1951 and was soon transferre­d into the Army-Airforce where he served until being honorably discharged in November 1956. Haskell reentered the Airforce reserve in May 1957 and discharged in February of 1961.

During his military career, Haskell met and married Ferne Wagoner of Gholson, Texas. To this union, two daughters were born, Claudette Michael and Cloddy Dechon Williams. During the span of his military career, Haskell furthered his education and was afforded the opportunit­y to serve in various capacities, including that of military Chaplain. After returning to civilian life, Haskell went on to serve in various areas of employment including becoming owner and operator of his own Salvage Recycling business. He also pursued his love of travel and education, obtaining his B.A. in Psychology, Chaplain service and becoming an ordained Methodist minister and pastor. Haskell eventually relocated back to Sweetwater, Texas where he reunited with family, his brother James, Claud and Roscoe Williams and their families and eventually his two daughters. Haskell remained in Sweetwater until his demise on October 24, 2020.

Haskell was preceded in death by his parents, Claud Sr, and Dessie (Holly) Williams, four brothers: Wayman, R.L, James and Claud Williams Jr. and one sister, Viola (and husband George) Jones. Haskell leaves to cherish his memory: one brother, Roscoe (Wanda) Williams of Tuscan, Arizona, one sister-inlaw, Maggie Williams of Waco, Texas; Two daughters: Claudette Gaither and Cloddy Williams of Gholson (Waco) Texas, Two sons: Dane Courtney, Waco, Texas and Darrell Williams, Dallas, Texas; Seven grandchild­ren: Christophe­r Gaither, Houston, TX, Brandy Gaither, New Mexico, Kirk Gaither II., New Boston, TX, Nancy Gaither, Waco, TX, Matthew Gaither, Wichita Falls, TX, Kevin Poole, Waco, TX and Caleb Poole, Grand Prairie, TX, 21 great grandchild­ren, a host of nieces, nephew, relatives and friends with special recognitio­n of neighbors and friends, George and Kathy Blueford.

Military Honors and funeral services will be 2 P.M. Saturday, October 31, 2020 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Robert Carey and Rev. Homer Reddic officiatin­g. Interment will follow in the Veterans Section at Sweetwater Cemetery directed by McCoy Funeral Home.

DEAN JEFFERY FORGERSON

Dean Jeffery Forgerson 76, of Sweetwater passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Garden of Memories. Military graveside rites will be performed by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard. Interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. A visitation will be held 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the funeral home. Dean was born August 25, 1944 in Roscoe, TX to the late Clarence Jefferson and Mamie Ruth (Petty) Forgerson. He graduated Newman High School in Sweetwater in 1963. He married Geraldine Weatherfor­d on May 18, 1977 in Freeport, TX. Dean was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served from 1964 to 1967 as a Fire Control Technician aboard the USS Dewey (DLG-14) during the Vietnam Era. Dean loved woodworkin­g in his spare time as well as riding around on his lawnmower cutting grass and doing yard work. Dean is survived by his wife Geraldine Forgerson of Sweetwater; stepson Charles David Dumas of Sweetwater; stepdaught­er Vickie Chehovits and husband Kerry of Richwood, TX; four grandchild­ren; seven great grandchild­ren; niece Cindy Cox and husband Terry of Cedar Park, TX; nephew Van Holbrook and wife Jennifer of Bedford, TX; cousins Pat and Rex Walker of Abilene, TX. and Wilford Petty and wife Dorothy of Roscoe, TX. Tommy Leon Helm, 82, 0f Roby, TX, passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 at Coronado Nursing Center in Abilene, TX. Services are pending with McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.

Ruby LaVelle (Foust) Fitzpatric­k, age 81, of Abilene, Texas, (Former longtime resident of Sweetwater, Texas), passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at her residence.

Per her wishes, her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent
