SNAP Center Open to Public Again

- By JOSEPH GRANT Editor

The SNAP Center is once again open to the public for dining and activities.

SNAP or the Senior Nutrition Activities Program had been closed to the public due to the rise in COVID-19 in our area. The SNAP building is once again open to the public as the numbers of COVID-19 continue to decrease in the Nolan County area.

The Senior Nutrition Activities Program (SNAP) provides a hot, nutritious meal each weekday at 12:00 noon. Approximately 25 meals are served in the center and approximately 170 delivered to homebound participants each day.

SNAP is located at 1701 Elm Street in Sweetwater.
