Scott Alan Hetcel, 57, On this day, 28th of February, Scott lost his courageous battle with cancer. He was a resident of Sweetwater since 2008. Scott was born on May 3, 1963 in Flint, Michigan to parents Rudolph and Ruth Ann Hetcel. He graduated from Burkburnett High School in 1981, Burkburnett, Texas. Scott was employed with SkyClimber wind repair business, as their Operations and Business Development Manager. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army as an E-5 Sergeant on December 7, 1985. He was a longtime member of the NRA and H.O.G. (Harley Owner’s Group).
He was survived by Wife: Trudy, Son: Kyle Hetcel and wife Robyn of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Daughter: Amanda Hammes and husband Gavin of Fairfield, Iowa, Son: Nicholas Hetcel of Pensacola, Florida, Granddaughters: Averie Hammes, Haley Hetcel, Emily Hetcel, Natalie Hetcel , Father: Rudy and wife Marie of Yulee, Florida, Mother: Ruth Young of Lapeer, Michigan, Sister: Lori Hodge and husband Craig of Lapeer, Michigan, Brother: Michael Hetcel of Lapeer, Michigan, Brother: Joe Hetcel and wife Debbie from Twin Lake, Michigan, Brother-InLaw: Harry Young and wife Shannon of Iowa Park, Texas, Multiple Nieces, Nephews and friends. R.D. Bobby Alderson, Jr., age 91, of Sweetwater passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M.
