Bobbi Loran Crowned Miss Rodeo Texas
The West Texas Fair & Rodeo leadership and staff are extremely proud to announce that Bobbi Loran, the reigning 2019-2021 West Texas Fair & Rodeo Queen, was crowned Miss Rodeo Texas Sunday, June 27, during the 2021 Miss Rodeo Texas Pageant held in San Antonio, Texas. Rochelle Johnson, general manager of the West Texas Fair & Rodeo, is “excited for Bobbi to assume this new role. She will excel as Miss Rodeo Texas just as she did while representing the West Texas Fair & Rodeo...
She will excel as Miss Rodeo Texas just as she did while representing the West Texas Fair & Rodeo. Bobbi’s passion and kind spirit leaves a lasting impression wherever she goes.” Her time has ended as Miss West Texas Fair & Rodeo, but her impact on those she met at over 30 events, including the 2020 National Finals Rodeo, will last a lifetime. Young ladies ages 4-26 can make the same impact as Bobbi did if selected during the 2021 West Texas Fair & Rodeo Queen Scholarship Pageant. This year the expanded pageant will include four age divisions, West Texas Fair & Rodeo Princess, West Texas Fair & Rodeo Jr. Miss, West Texas Fair & Rodeo Teen, and West Texas Fair & Rodeo Queen. The selection of the West Texas Fair & Rodeo royalty is based on horsemanship, appearance, and personality competition. Those young ladies selected as representatives of the West Texas Fair & Rodeo will travel all over the state encouraging Texas youth to remember the impact our rich western heritage has had on the development of our state and to educate everyone about the contributions of Texas agriculture in our everyday life. With gates set to open for the 2021 West Texas Fair & Rodeo September 10, applications are now available online at taylorcountyexpocenter.com for those wishing to enter this year’s Queen Scholarship Pageant. Entry deadline is August 16 at 5 p.m.
