EMMA LEE BELL
Emma Lee Bell, 84, of Sweetwater, passed away on July 19, 2021 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. Funeral services for Emma will be on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at McCoy Chapel of Memories. Pastor Mike Ensminger will be officiating service. Interment will follow service at Sweetwater Cemetery. There will be a family visitation on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at funeral home.
Emma Lee Bell was born on October 6, 1936 in Nacogdoches county to parents George and Lillian Tillman. She worked for Dr. Beverly Young for many years as a private sitter until she moved to Sweetwater. Emma was a homemaker, that had a passion for cooking. Emma cooked for several people. She was the cook at Mulberry Manor for many years before having to retire, due to her health. Emma was a member of Church of Christ. She loved spending time with family and friends.
She loved to fish on her leisure time.
Emma leaves to cherish her memories are: Sons: James McCoy and wife Loeta , Johnny McCoy and wife Stacey McCoy, Zelmo Bell and wife Trisha, all of Sweetwater, TX, Billy Ray Bell of Abilene, TX, Son: Kenneth Randle of Sweetwater. Daughter: Lillian C. Bell “Lynn” of Gainesville, TX, Sisters: Mary Owens of Sweetwater and Shirley Bealer of Grand Praire, TX, Special Son: Leonard Hernandez, Special niece Eddie Faye and husband Cleophos Thomas of Palestine, TX, Special nephew Ricky Tillman of Abilene, TX, 50 Grandchildren, 130 Great-Grandchildren, 14 Great GreatGrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Lillian Tillman, husband: Kit Polk, 3 sisters: Rosie Lee Watts, Jenivee Tillman Wallace, Vivian Pickens, 2 Brothers: Eugene Tillman and George Tillman Jr., 1 son: Thomas McCoy, 3 grandchildren: Byron McBride, Zackery Bell, Emma Shanee Bell.
