The transgender movement hurts women

- Kimberly Jones

Yes, I said it, and more of us should be saying it. The transgender movement is hurting women.

Women are in danger of being erased in sports. As a woman, former athlete, and mother of a female high school athlete, I am appalled to see girls and women lose to biological men who compete against them as women in sports. You will see a few in the Olympics, like the power lifter from New Zealand. I mean why should these women even bother to show up? These transgender women are not only cheating women out of victories and even college scholarships with an unfair physical advantage, but they are setting records that women will most likely never reach. Like I said… erased. I know it’s a hip thing to say that women can do whatever men can do, but it’s not true. Women can’t do what men can do, just as men can’t do all that women can do. WE ARE DIFFERENT! And it’s beautiful!

Men have more muscle mass, bigger hearts, more lung capacity, more bone density, and are simply bigger, all of which are kind of important when it comes to sports and PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. You can look it up. With one Google search for “men bones versus women bones,” the first article that popped up was an article published in the National Library of Medicine about the gender difference of volumetric bone density. It’s science! And you cannot change these things with hormone therapy when these men are already grown. Doing this sort of therapy to boys cannot erase all the male DNA in them either. It’s simply unfair.

Even worse, women and girls are losing their private spaces. Schools and universities are forcing girls and women to share bathrooms and locker rooms with biological boys and men who say they are female. Some businesses are doing the same thing. This is dangerous. No girl or woman should have to deal with this. Any time this comes to your kids’ school, every parent of every daughter should fight to protect their daughters. If you don’t, you are simply failing your daughters.

There was an incident earlier this month when a man who identified as a woman was allowed to come into a female spa area in LA and exposed his very male genitalia to women and young girls. A woman went viral confronting the owners of the spa. A man behind her actually took the side of the transgender woman with male genitalia. There was a protest outside of the spa, and then counter-protestors got violent towards them. I am now living in a world where men can come in and expose themselves to my daughter without repercussions and are even supported and celebrated as they violate and traumatize her.

What makes it even more disgusting is when women complain, and men tell them to shut up. I guess they think we should just suck it up and take it.

Today I read an even more horrible story. California has allowed male prisoners to identify as women and are then allowing those biological males to transfer to female prisons where they share a cell/bunk with women. Some of these women have complained… naturally. They are being sexually abused in prison. I know these women have done something criminally wrong to be there, but they do not deserve sexual abuse as part of their punishment.

But guess what California’s response was. They are sending condoms and Plan B pills, as well as offering abortions. Let that one sink in. The State of California is paying for men who claim to be women to rape biological women more safely and helping these poor women abort their babies if they happen to get pregnant in prison. I cannot imagine anything much more disgusting than that.

All people should be shouting from the rooftops about the abuse that is happening to women because of this transgender movement. Some are, but I’m not hearing enough of it. Maybe it’s because most of the media and politicians are afraid to speak out against these people.

I will say this. If a man decides he wants to present as a woman, dress as a woman, act like a woman, or even have surgeries making him look more like a woman, although I think it’s disturbing and morally wrong, it’s none of my business. It does greatly offend me that a man can say he is a woman and people will agree that he is just as much a woman as me and even can win a female beauty contest like the Miss Nevada USA pageant. But when that person, this minority of a group (so far), infringes upon my rights as a human being and is allowed to harm women and girls, I get very angry. I will not publicly say what I think should be done to a man who identifies as a woman to get put into a female prison population and then rapes women. I’ll just say it’s not good. Not good at all.

A decent society should never allow a small, fringe group have rights that harm and infringe upon a larger group, especially a more vulnerable group. What happened to thinking of the greater good?

So what can we do about it? As a woman, I am speaking up for my rights and the rights of others. I see lots of women doing that now. I see men speaking up too. Men, especially men of God, should be getting behind women and fighting for them. Of course, I will pray for the depravity of humanity to come to an end. I’m not sure what else to do right now.
