Community Calendar and Announcement Policy

The Community Calendar and Announcement sections are for non-profit organizations such as churches, schools, and benefits helping families or certain groups. The benefit must run what it is and where the money is going. No prices will be allowed in the placement. For example, no ticket price, no door price or no prize price.

“Donations will be accepted” is acceptable language, but no amount is allowed. Items in question will be handled on a case-by-case basis and placement or nonplacement will be at the discretion of the editor and the publisher.

The placer always has the opportunity to purchase an advertisement in the paper to run the full announcement. If he or she wishes to do so, they will be directed to advertising for their assistance. Feel free to contact us at 325-236-6677.
