Fill your nest with an EASTER TREAT

Robin’s Nest Cake

3 cups cake ¾our

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp kosher salt

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

1 1/2 cups Domino® Light Brown Sugar 1 cup Domino® Granulated Sugar 1 tbsp vanilla extract

5 eggs

1/4 cup whole milk

Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and ¾our 3 (6-inch) cake pans.

Sift together ¾our, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside. Cream together butter and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition. Add ¾our mixture alternatel­y with milk. Mix until smooth. Pour 2 3/4 cups batter into each pan. Bake 40 min. Cool completely.trim off domes from tops of each cake layer.

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, at room temp. 8 oz cream cheese, at room temp. 3 1/4 cups Domino® Confection­ers Sugar 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 to 2 drops sky blue gel food coloring Beat butter and cream cheese until creamy and ¾uffy. Add sugar, 1 cup at a time, on low speed. Scrape sides after each addition. Add vanilla. Stir in food coloring.

Preheat oven to 325°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

Spread 1 1/2 cups sweetened ¾aked coconut in even layer on baking sheet. Bake 5 -7 min. Let coconut cool before handling.

1/2 cup chocolate cookie crumbs, crushed chocolate-covered malted egg candies

Spread 2/3 cup frosting evenly on one cake layer. Sprinkle 1/3 of the cookie crumbs and 1/4 cup toasted coconut over frosting. Repeat for remaining layers. Frost just the top of cake. Sprinkle remaining cookie crumbs. Form a “nest” in center of cake with toasted coconut. Garnish with candy eggs. Garnish plate edge with remaining coconut.

Yields 8-10 servings.
