I like being a Field Editor because...

I love to cook and love to share food! Being a Field Editor pushes me even further and connects me to other food lovers.

Our favorite family food tradition is... Homemade individual pizzas for the holidays! I make a homemade crust and everyone adds their favorite toppings. For Halloween, we had pumpkin crust; the kids made jack-o’-lantern faces. At Christmas, we make snowman pizzas. On Valentine’s Day, I add beet puree to the dough so it’s pink and we make heart pizzas.

The most important thing for my family... To sit down together and have at least one home-cooked meal per day. As my children get older, I include them with the menu planning and prep so that they, too, can learn to love home cooking.

My best advice... Have fun, experiment, and remember there’s always takeout if it doesn’t work out!
