Pecan Pie Cobbler
This amazing dessert combines the ease of cobbler and the richness of pecan pie.
Prep: 20 min. • Bake: 30 min. + cooling Makes: 12 servings 1/2 cup butter, cubed 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour 3/4 cup sugar 3 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 2/3 cup 2% milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
11/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans 1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup brickle toffee bits
11/2 cups boiling water
1. Preheat oven to 350°. Place butter in a 13x9-in. baking pan; melt in oven, 3-5 minutes. Meanwhile, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; stir in milk and vanilla until combined.
2. Remove pan from oven; add batter. Sprinkle with pecans, brown sugar and toffee bits. Slowly pour boiling water over top. Bake, uncovered, until set, 30-35 minutes. Cool 30 minutes on a rack (cobbler will thicken as it cools).
