Flying high for Fat Friday
Awesome jams, aerialists and a huge bonfire greeted revelers at The Mothership for Fat Friday
Taos Mesa Brewing hosted a Fat Friday Mardis Gras-themed party Friday (Feb. 9).
Local aerialists took to the stage to perform on the hoop, and High Frequency Loft owners Colton Silva and Alana Lee showed off their skills while Last to Know performed. The culmination of the festival happened when The KOC, a giant, beautifully crafted wooden structure was torched, warming the chilling February evening.
The Taos News was there to chronicle the festivities for this week’s “On the scene” column on Pages 16 and 17 and a photo series online at taosnews.com.
LAST TO KNOW headlined the Fat Friday Mardi Gras show Friday night (Feb. 9) at the Taos Mesa Brewing Mothership.
