MURFREESBO­RO, Ark.—Dorothy Mae Finney Ward, 94, of Pike City, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013. Mrs. Ward was born Feb. 24, 1918, in Graysonia, Ark. She was a nurse’s aide and member of Pike City Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Zell Ward; one son, Donald Wayne Ward; one grandson, Richard Allen Ward; one great-grandson, Casey Calley; and two sons-in-law, Estil Morris and J.F. Miller.

Survivors include six children, Wimp Ward of Strong, Ark., Argie Mae Wynn of Nashville, Ark., Richard Leon Ward of Texarkana, Carolyn Morris of Delight, Ark., Gerald D. Ward of Alpine, Ark., and Ronald H. Ward of Fort Smith, Ark.; two brothers, Dale Finney of Humble, Texas, and Carmon Finney of Burkeville, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Charlene Finney of Houston and Othell Ward of Murfreesbo­ro; 28 grandchild­ren; 56 great-grandchild­ren; 24 greatgreat-grandchild­ren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Delight First Baptist Church with Larry Welch and Jim Shelby officiatin­g. Burial will be in Pike City Cemetery under direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesbo­ro.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
