Brenda Inez (Hagler) Langley

Brenda Inez (Hagler) Langley, 63, passed away January 24, 2013 at her home in Bella Vista, AR. She was born on May 24, 1949 to Harold and Edith (McKnight) Hagler in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was the loving wife for 45 years of Albert R. Langley.

Brenda was a math teacher with the Bentonville Arkansas School District for 4 years, the Fouke, AR school system for 5 years, and the Texarkana Texas School District for 11 years. She graduated from Texas A&M UniversityTexarkana with Academic Distinction with a Master of Education. Brenda was a Charter Member of Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society for Education Majors and Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society for English Majors. She was a devoted teacher who loved working with children.

Brenda was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Melanie Langley.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Albert R. Langley of Bella Vista, AR ; son, C. Kevin Langley of Shreveport, LA and daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Mike Liddekee of Bella Vista, AR; three grandchildren, Hannah and Emily Langley of Shreveport, LA and Cooper Liddekee of Bella Vista, AR; brother and sister-in-law, F. H “Pete” and Carol Hagler of Longview, TX; 2 sisters and brother-in-laws, Linda and Gary Jackson of Texarkana, TX and Glenda and Larry Attaway of Texarkana, TX. Three sister-in-laws and brother-inlaws, Ella May and Donald Schellinger of Shreveport, LA, Harold and JoAnn Langley of Pocola, OK and Edward and Beverly Langley of Nacogdoches, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special Friends: Jerry and Carole Thomas of Texarkana, TX, Pam Gurley of Texarkana, AR and Jean Gibson of Fayetteville, AR.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 28, 2013 at 4:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, AR. Pastor Ronney Joe Webb of First Baptist Church, Shreveport, LA will be officiating. Grave Side Services will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at Moores Chapel Cemetery on Richmond Road at Airline Dr., Texarkana, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Randy Jackson, Justen Spinks, Ricky Patterson, Josh Attaway, Darrell Langley, Richard Patton, Joel Hagler, and Donald R. Schellinger.
