Charlene Clark Beck

ARLINGTON - Charlene Clark Beck, 77, went to be with our Lord and her beloved husband of 44 years, Henry “Buddy” Beck, on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013.

Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Woods Chapel Baptist Church. Pastor Joe Estes will officiate. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home.

Charlene was a loving wife, mother, grandma, GG, aunt, sister and friend. She opened her home to everyone. Strangers were soon absorbed and became true family. She was an avid gardener, and enjoyed cooking for her family. Charlene and Buddy were longtime members of Hillcrest Park Baptist Church. For the past 10 years, Charlene was a member of Woods Chapel. In addition, she enjoyed and loved her ladies Sunday School class.

Survivors: Children, Sherry Beck Carson, Michael Beck, Debra Beck Bassham and husband, Charlie, Gary Beck and wife, April, Jamie and husband, Kevin, Joshua Robertsm Kandi, Josh and Wife, Melissa, Meagan and husband, Evan, Chelsea, Chloe, Hannah and Jake; great-grandchildren, Shelby and husband, David, Brendon, Kayleigh, Jessica, Kannon, Cade and much anticipated Beck twins; siblings, Ken Clark and wife, Hazel, Herbert Clark and wife, Sue, Earlene Copeland, Ruby Herrington and Retha Hart; life-long best friend, Ruth Beck Strube; many nieces and nephews; and numerous beloved friends.
