RUTH HARRIS

Ruth Crabtree Harris, 92, of Fouke, Ark., died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at her home. Mrs. Harris was born Aug. 2, 1920, in Miller County, Ark. She was a homemaker and member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Harris. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Veronica and Boyce Scott of Fouke; four sons and daughters-in-law, James “Jimmy” and Shelia Harris, Willard and Sherry Harris, Mike and Nelene Harris and Steve and Kathy Harris of Fouke; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with Frank McFerrin and the Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Burial will be in Jonesville Cemetery, Fouke.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family will be at Ruth Harris’ home in Fouke.
