OMAHA-NAPLES, Texas— Paul Pewitt overcame a slow first quarter start to coast to an easy victory over Queen City.

The Lady Brahmas scored just six points in the first quarter and turned up the heat in the second quarter, scoring 15 points.

LaKeithia Malone's shot was automatic, scoring 16 points with 12 of those coming from 3-point land. LaDaysha Thomas wasn't too fond of her opponents having the basketball; she recorded seven steals in addition to her 10 points.

The Brahmas increased their district record to 7-5.
