ASHDOWN, Arkansas— Arkansas Baptist made things interesting, coming out of halftime with fire in their eyes, but fell just short. After being outscored 20-6 in the first quarter, the Lady Eagles went basketforwith Ashdown.

The Lady Panthers weren't going to take a home loss if LaBrisha Scott had anything to do with it. She led Ashdown with 24 points. LaKendria Radford's 12 points also helped hold off Arkansas Baptist.

Kealy Byrd was the Eagles' leading scorer with 16 points, 12 of those coming from 3-pointers. Cara Hogue added another 11 points.
