Eleventh Street to hold revival
Revival services with the Rev. Dr. Stanley T. Hillard start Monday at Eleventh Street Baptist Church.
Service t imes for the annual fall event are at 7 p.m. Monday through Thur-sday.
Hillard, whose ministry spans three decades, has traveled across the country in numerous evangelist efforts.
He serves as pastor of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Houston. He is also the president of the Lincoln Southern District of Christian Education and of the BM&E Youth State Convention of Texas, dean of the BM&E State Congress of Christian Education and a member of the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a master in marketing management.
Several guest choirs are scheduled to perform at the upcoming event, including choirs from Mount Grove Baptist Church on Monday; Church of the Living God Temple 4 on Tuesday; Bethlehem Baptist Church of Wilton, Ark., and Community Freewill Baptist Church of Ashdown, Ark., on Wednesday; and Prosperity Baptist Church of New Boston, Texas, on Thursday.
Church officials invite area residents to take part in the upcoming four-day revival event.
