Longview stuns Texas High; Rabbits sprint past Mount Pleasant, 32-16
Longview pinned a rare 18-6 loss on Texas High in a jayvee dual at the Tiger Tennis Center on Thursday. Doubles turned out to be the difference. Longview built its lead by going 8-0 in those matches.

SPRING HILL, Ark.—Kyran Batey rushed for 188 yards on six carries, including touchdowns of 63, 51 and 46 yards for unbeaten Foreman (4-0) in a 34-20 middle school road win over Spring Hill on Thursday.
Batey's first touchdown came with 5:10 left in first half after Corey Lovewell's 5-yard score at the end of the first quarter. Lovewell would add a second TD of his own in the third when he zip across just across the 50-yard line.
The fourth quarter belonged to Batey who scored his second TD with 5:42 to go and his third score with just over four minutes remaining.
Spring Hill did not provide information to the Gazette as of press time.
Atlanta thumps MP
ATLANTA, Texas—Decory Larry scored two touchdowns, one on a 35-yard, first quarter run and returned an interception back 26 yards for another to help Atlanta breeze to a 32-16 jayvee win over Mount Pleasant Thursday.
Tyrell Phillips ran the opening kickoff 94 yards to stake the Rabbits (4-0) to a 8-0 lead after he ran in the two-point conversion.
Parker Simmons had Atlanta's last touchdown—a 10-yard catch from Carson Lambert in the third quarter—Carson added the second of two successful conversion runs for the final score.
