Churches to host Thanksgiving events
Asking God for his blessing and giving him thanks and praise is the theme of this year’s Thanksgiving service sponsored by the Baptist Ministers’ Fellowship.
The service is at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at New Zion Baptist Church, 1901 Charlestine St.
This year’s speaker will be the Rev. Richard Noble, associate minister at Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Hooks, Texas.

Liberty-Eylau community Thanksgiving service sponsored by the Liberty-Eylau Fellowship of Ministers will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Community World Outreach Christian Center, 2604 Leopard Drive.
