Paul Shannon Weaver

Paul Shannon Weaver, age 55, of Redwater, Texas, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at his home.

Paul was born August 31, 1959 in Texarkana, Texas. He was retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company and a lifetime member of the South Texarkana United Methodist Church and the Woodstock Hunting Club. He was an Ultralight enthusiast and owner of Piney Ridge Airport. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Dayton Weaver.

He is survived by his wife of thirty seven years, Paula McAfee Weaver of Redwater, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law: Jeremy Paul and Rebecca Weaver of Texarkana, Texas; Deric Adam and Dana Weaver of Texarkana, Texas; four grandchildren: Trent Cameron Michael, Johnathan Paul Weaver, Elijah Gus Weaver, Cody Grayson Weaver all of Texarkana, Texas; his mother: Helen O’Keefe Weaver of Texarkana, one sister: Paulette Weaver of Texarkana; one brother: Kevie Lee Weaver of Texarkana, two nephews: Jason Ryan Weaver of Texarkana and Nicholas Bryan Weaver of Anna, Texas; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Charles and Sue McAfee of Texarkana; his brotherin-law: Chip McAfee and a host of friends and other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelsey Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funereal home Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 P. M. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Way Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.
