All-District Teams

17-2A BASEBALL

Jake McDonald took home the District MVP for Maud, and was joined by teammates Triston Carlow, who was Offensive MVP, and Logan Hemby, named defensive MVP in District 17-2A baseball. James Bowie had Pitcher of the Year Kolby Clark and Newcomer of the Year Bailey Obenoskey. Maud’s coaching staff earned All-District honors.

Maud had six players on the first team roster with Rylie Martin at pitcher, Kendall Mathis and Cooper Peavey in the infield, Conner Morton in the outfield, Matt Smith at the designated hitter, and Gage Jones at utility. James Bowie had four players on the first team with Dillon Smith and Payton Gray in the infield, and Blake Smith and Jim Lawing in the outfield. Rivercrest had two players on the first team with Hunter Binion in the infield and Coy Larey as utility. Detroit also had two players on the first team with pitcher Jared Duren and catcher Wil Decker. Bloomburg pitcher Nathan McGill was named to the first team as well as Avery outfielder Justin White.
