15-3A BASEBALL
Redwater’s Corey Jolley walked away with MVP honors and teammate Nick Anderson was offensive MVP in District 15-3A baseball. Ty Miller of New Boston shared defensive MVP with Prairiland’s Jordan Harrison.
Newcomer of the year went to DeKalb freshman Dalton Hanna while Redwater’s Foxx Smith was the Pitcher of the Year.
Best district coaching staff went to Redwater.
Redwater had four players on the first team with Blake Seddens at pitcher, John Michael Russ at first, Hunter Dailey at third, and Taylor Kidd in the outfield. Four players from Cooper made the first team list with Justin Gibson at pitcher, Jake Mitchell in the outfield, Jordon McGraw as utility, and Brayden Toon at designated hitter. Prairiland pitcher Heath Swaim, second baseman Ashdon Langston, and outfielder Blake Upchurch were also named. New Boston catcher Philip Pyle and outfielder Taylor Haggard made the team. Hooks pitcher Trent Satterfield was selected as well as Paris Chisum outfielder Gus Collins.
