15-3A SOFTBALL
Redwater’s Katy Worrell capped off her junior year by being named softball’s District 15-3A Most Valuable Player by league coaches.
Fellow teammate Kelli Francis was named Defensive Player of the Year while K.J. Keeley of Paris Chisum took Offensive Player of the Year.
DeKalb’s Astonai Gray was the Pitcher of the Year, and Marena Estelle of Hooks got Newcomer of the Year.
Redwater coaches John Edwards, Greg Frachiseur and Scott Usrey earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
Hooks’ Kenley Kyles, Calyn Kyles, Kaylee Pope, Kaylee Price and Rachel Latimer were named to the all-district first team. Redwater had three players on the team in Ramzi Smith, Karli Boatright and Savannah Corbell. DeKalb’s Tori Leveritt and Haley Brown were named to the team, along with Prairiland’s Bri Calabria, Lauren Miller, Dani Hunter and Madi Gray. Lettie Swaim, Reagan Feilds and Shelby Little made the first team for Paris Chisum.
