HandsOn Texarkana, The New Volunteer Center, offers volunteer opportunities in the community and refers prospective volunteers to appropriate agencies and volunteer groups. Salvation Army needs volunteers to help sort, hang and price donated clothing at the Family Thrift Store. Volunteers are also needed to greet customers, straighten the sales floor and put out merchandise 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
