CITY VOLLEYBALL: LIBERTY-EYLAU DEFEATS PARIS IN FOUR SETS,

Liberty-Eylau improved to 3-2 in district with a win over Paris in four sets 25-12, 25-12, 21-25, 26-24.

Chelsea Fagan led the Lady Leopards with 15 points, smacked 10 kills and had 15 digs. Adrianna Byrd had 12 points and 18 digs.

Taylor Crabtree led the team with 20 digs and had 10 kills. Rynesha Fort had 40 assists and 12 points.

PG GETS ROAD WIN

ATLANTA, Texas—Brette Wacha had 10 kills for Pleasant Grove and beat Atlanta in four sets 25-22, 25-22, 22-25, 25-20.

Britton Anderson had 11 kills and nine digs for the Lady Hawks. Anna Miller had eight assists and Blair Smith had 22 digs.

KeOsha Sedrick had nine points for the Lady Rabbits. Marshay Hatley had 15 points. Avery Trotter had 30 assists and Amber Adams had six assists. Kwan Shepard had 12 digs.

TEXAS HIGH LOSES

LONGVIEW, Texas—Texas High lost to Pinetree in four sets 18-25, 25-23, 18+25, 24-26.

Kristin McDuffie led the Lady Tigers with 18 kills. Takeba Dowden had seven kills, 25 points, and four blocks. Chealsea Slider led the Tigers with 38 assists and had 11 points. Kaitlyn Cross had eight kills and four blocks.

Texas High junior varsity beat Pinetree junior varsity 25-11, 22-26, 25-23. Katelin Jordan had 12 points.

Texas High ninth grade team lost to Pinetree 20-25, 25-15, 16-25.

Sydney Stewart had 15 points.

JAMES BOWIE ROMPS

SIMMS, Texas—James Bowie swept Rivercrest in three set 26-24, 14-25, 25-23, 25-14.

Sindney Braley led the Lady pirates with 12 points. Andia Addy swatted 15 kills and Kylee Wyatt had 19 assist. Brooklyn Wilbar had nine digs.

QUEEN CITY SWEEPS

QUEEN CITY, Texas—Brianna Watson smacked 16 kills and had four blocks for Queen City to beat Hughes Springs 25-18, 25-15, 25-17.

Shaelyn Goecke had 12 kills and four blocks for the Lady Bulldogs. Alyssa Wiley had six kills and 13 assists and Macy Stinger added 14 assists. Queen City is now 26-7.

Kensley Echols led the Lady Mustangs with seven kills. Savannah Wright had eight assists and Peyton Blythe had 10 assists. Kennedi Northam had 12 digs.

PAUL PEWITT WINS

OMAHA-NAPLES, Texas—Paul Pewitt beat Chapel Hill in four sets 25-18, 26-24, 13-25, 25-13.

Brelee Lawins led the Lady Brahmas with 13 points and added seven kills and 25 digs. Salie Sartain led the team with 36 assists and Ebbony Cobbins smacked 14 kills. Ali Hawkins had 33 digs.

Jaelyn Huffman led the Lady Bulldogs with 13 points. Michael’ann Diamggio and Raime McElveen had eight points.

NEW BOSTON GETS VICTORY

PARIS, Texas—New Boston improved to 4-1 in district by beating Paris Chisum in four sets 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 25-22.

Madison Thomas led the Lady Lions with 14 kills. McKenzee Thomas smacked 10 kills and Hannah White had 33 assists. Meredith Faris had 19 digs and Emily McAlexander had four blocks.

Hannah White led the Lady Mustangs with 15 points and Hannah Burnett had 11 points.
