The following is a list of September continuing education classes at Texarkana College.

Barbells and Butterfly Kitchen Nutrition: The four-week healthy living class will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 1-22. The cost is $75.

Basic Photograph­y: The four-week class for beginners explores basic functions and techniques for digital or manual cameras. Classes are 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 6-27. The cost is $75.

Basic Drawing: The four-week class addresses shape, form, contour drawing, value, shading techniques, compositio­n, design and the importance of keeping a sketch book. Classes are 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 19 to Oct. 10. The cost is $80.

Pottery: The eight-week class for beginning and intermedia­te students will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 12 to Nov. 7. The cost is $200.

Deco Mesh Wreath Making: The one-day class will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22. The cost is $35.

Great Cakes Start to Finish: The four-week class covers making— from scratch or mix—and decorating cakes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 13 to Oct. 4. The cost is $50.

Energy Conservati­on in the Home: The one-day class provides tips to help save water and electricit­y. The class meets from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7. The cost is $10.

Butterflie­s of Northeast Texas with Gardening Tips: The oneday class will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13. The cost is $10.

Composting Yard Waste: The one-day class teaches how to use dead leaves and green yard waste to make helath top soil. The class meets from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12. The cost is $10.

Introducti­on to Photoshop: The four-week class covers basic editing techniques and touches on design. Classes are 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 6-27. The cost is $80.

Microsoft Excel 2013—

Beginner: The four-week class teaches the basics of Excel 2013 such as creating worksheets and charts and using formulas and functions. Classes are 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 13 to Oct. 4. The cost is $100.

Getting to Know Your iPhone:

The two-week class will be held on Mondays, Sept. 12 and 19. The cost is $40.

Accounting Basics: The sixweek class teaches basic accounting principles and financial concepts as a refresher or for entreprene­urs keeping their own books. Classes are 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 8 to Oct. 13. The cost is $125.

Beginning Tennis: This class for ages 12 and older is held monthly from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. The cost is $80.

Body Sculpting: The six-week class uses weights, resistance tubing and a step to create muscle tone, muscular endurance, flexibilit­y and strength. Classes are 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 6 to Oct. 13. The cost is $70. Gymnastics—Tiny Tumblers:

The six-week class for beginning students ages 3-4 will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 6 to Oct. 11. The cost is $60.

Gymnastics—Tumblers: The six-week class for beginning and intermedia­te students ages 5-8 will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 6 to Oct. 11. The cost is $60.

Gymnastics—Acro: The sixweek class for beginning and intermedia­te students ages 9 and older will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 6 to Oct. 11. The cost is $60.

Gymnastics—Mommy and Me:

The six-week class for toddlers, 12 to 35 months, will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays, from Sept. 8 to Oct. 13. The cost is $60.

Yoga with Donna: The fourweek class for beginners to seasoned practition­ers will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 28 to Oct. 24. The cost is $85.

Yoga with Lynnel, Mornings:

The class adapts to all body types, ages and fitness levels and meets for 11 sessions, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 6 to Oct. 20. The cost is $110.

Yoga with Lynnel, Evenings:

The class for all body types, ages and fitness levels will meet for six sessions, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 7 to 26. The cost is $60.

Baby Swim: The three-week class is for babies 9 months to 3 years, who must be accompanie­d by a parent or caregiver 18 or older. Classes are 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 12-28. The cost is $55.

Swim School: With three sections for varying skill levels, this four-week class for children ages 4-17 will be held from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. for Level 1-2 or 4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for Level 3-4 and 5-6 on Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 7-28. The cost is $65. Classes are held year round.

Water Workout: The four-week, total-body workout class is for men and women ages 16 and older and works on endurance, mobility and muscle strength. Classes are 1:30 p.m. to 2:20 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 6-29. The cost is $35.

Ladies Aquatic Move and Groove: The six-week water exercise class has easy-to-follow

movements set to music. Classes are at 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 13 to Oct. 20. The cost is $40.

Beginner Ballroom Dance:

The four-week class teaches the basics of the fox trot, waltz, rumba and more. Classes are 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 8-29. The cost is $40.

Beginning Martial Arts/Karate:

The six-week class for ages 5 and older focuses on the art, sport, self-discipline and self-confidence aspects of karate. Classes are 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 12 to Oct. 19. The cost is $75.

Country and Western Dance:

The four-week class teaches Cotton-Eyed Joe, two-step, three-step, shuffle, waltz, line dances and more. Classes are 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 12 to Oct. 3. The cost is $40.

Allied Health Dental Update 2016: The oneday, 7-hour class will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 16. The cost is $90.

Pharmacy Tech: The 12-week course prepares for certificat­ion and meets from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 19 to Dec. 12. The cost is $1,450.

Phlebotomy Technician: The 11-week course prepares for certificat­ion and meets from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 19 to Dec. 13. The cost is $1,665.

Medical Billing: The 12-week course meets from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 20 to Dec. 15. The cost is $1,865.

Certified Nurse Aide: The 12-week course will be held Sept. 26 to Dec. 15. The cost is $650.

Medication Aide: The 12-week course will be held Sept. 26 to Dec. 15. The cost is $650.
