HandsOn Texarkana is recruiting volunteers for the 2nd annual Dragon Boat Festival on April 29 at Bringle Lake Park in Texarkana, Texas. Domestic Violence Prevention
Inc. needs caring and empathetic individuals to work the hotline and at the Battered Women’s Shelter, administrative office, Resale Shop and outreach offices. Two volunteers are also needed to provide childcare during group meetings 5:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. every other Tuesday at the shelter.; and one to two volunteers to serve as a check-in workers for the Tuesday night group meeting 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the main office.
