THS, PG tennis fall in area round
Texas High's and Pleasant Grove's respective team tennis season came to an end Thursday in the area round of the UIL playoffs.
The Tigers fell to Frisco Liberty, 10-7, at Sulphur Springs to complete a 14-1 fall season. THS trailed 4-3 after the doubles matches.
The Hawks dropped a 10-4 decision to Kilgore at Longview. PG also trailed 4-3 after the doubles matches but managed just one singles victory.
