Prescott scores at will in romp over Bismarck

PRESCOTT, Ark.—The Curley Wolves jumped out to an early 21-7 lead over the Lions, and never looked back as the added 34 points in the second quarter en route to a 62-7 rout of Bismarck.

The Curley Wolves added a touchdown in the third quarter for the final margin of victory.

The Curley Wolves defense came up big as they forced four turnovers— three fumbles and an intercepti­on. The offense errupted for 415 total yards, while holding their opponents to 205 total yards. Despite three turnovers of their own, the Curley Wolves were still able to cruise to this win.

Glen Rose 35, Horatio 0

HORATIO, Ark.—Horatio just couldn't get it going.

The Lions struggled to get its offense in a groove as they were only able to accumulate 173 yards while allowing 384 to Glen Rose. With the win, Glen Rose clinched at least a share of the conference title and the No. 1 playoff seed with its win.

Glen Rose scored what would prove to be the game-winner in the first quarter when Ryan Taylor found the end zone on a 11-yard carry, and later scored twice in the second quarter, once in the third and its final in the fourth. Taylor finished with 111 yards on 10 totes and two scores.

Horatio quarterbac­k Zach Izzo finished with 62 yards on the ground on 15 attempts, but threw two intercepti­ons on 3-of-11 passing. The QB also brought down an intercepti­on while on defense.

Jarred Rogers threw for 62 yards and a touchdown for Glen Rose, while rushing for 130 on 10 totes.

Fouke 16, Drew Central 0

MONTICELLO, Ark.—After a scoreless first half, the Panthers forced a third-quarter saftey and scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter while holding the Pirates to 47 total yards in a 16-0 shutout win.

Jarret Easley led the Panthers with 216 yds rushing on 37 carries. Hayden Jones lead the defense with three sacks, as the defense forced two turnovers, while scoring a touchdown off an intercepti­on.

Genoa Central 37, Lake Village Lakeside 8

LAKE VILLAGE, Ark.—Dalton Savell scored three touchdowns and Genoa Central kept its playoff hopes alive with a win over Lake Village Lakeside.

The Dragons rushed for 409 yards, with Savell finishing with 150 on 17 attempts.

Genoa Central's Bo Jewell and Cade Allen each rushed for a touchdown in the first quarter and Aaron Barwick kicked a 31-yard field goal in the second quarter.
