Block paces L-E 8th grade’s win

Liberty-Eylau’s 8th grade girls squad defeated Atlanta at home, 49-12.

Bryana Block led the Lady Leopards with 19 points and Cloe Westmorela­nd added 13 points.

L-E’s 7th grade A team defeated Atlanta, 39-16.

Myah Hurd led the Lady Leopards with 17 points and Alex Threats poured in 14 points.

Liberty-Eylau’s 7th grade B team fell to Atlanta, 8-4.

Jaime Martin led the Lady Rabbs with eight points and Carmen Crowley led the Lady Leopards with four points.

The Lady Leopards are back in action on Monday, traveling to Pittsburg at 4:30 p.m.

PG sweeps Pitt

Hallie Lipham poured in 21 points as Pleasant Grove’s 8th grade A team defeated Pittsburg, 55-14 at Hawk Gym.

Aniyah Allen scored 14 points for the Lady Hawks.

Timia Cooks had 10 points, and PG won the 8th B game, 31-4.

Rose Anderson put up eight points as the Hawks rolled in the 7th A game, 40-13.

Lilly Pace and Journey Board scored nine points each to lead Pleasant Grove’s 7th B to a 40-1 toppling of the Lady Pirates.

Redwater tops Queen City

REDWATER, Texas—Regan Markham’s 16 points led Redwater past Queen City in their 8th grade girls game, 36-7.

Destinee Wells led the Lady Bulldogs with five points.

Redwater’s 7th grade A squad defeated Queen City, 29-8.

Avery Waldrop led the Lady Dragons with 12 points and Cailey Henry led Queen City offensivel­y with four points.

The Lady Dragons’ 7th grade B team defeated the Lady Bulldogs, 8-2.

Kaylee Shavers led Redwater with four points.

DeKalb trumps Daingerfie­ld

DAINGERFIE­LD, Texas—Bailey Barger’s eight point outing led the DeKalb past Daingerfie­ld in the 8th grade A contest, 20-16.

DeKalb defeated Daingerfie­ld in the 8th grade B game, 14-7.

Miriyam Alberado led the Lady Bears with six points.

The Lady Bears throttled Daingerfie­ld in the 7th grade A game, 52-4.

Corinna Fulbright led all scorers with her 16 point output and Anijah Gray added 12 points for DeKalb.

The Lady Bears blanked Daingerfie­ld in the 7th grade B game, 28-0.

Jaylynn Hayden led DeKalb offensivel­y with 18 points.

QC, Redwater split

QUEEN CITY, Texas—Redwater’s 8th grade A squad fell to Queen Citty on the road, 39-26.

Malcolm Brown scored a game-high 22 points for the Dragons and Brandon Parkman led the Bulldogs with 12 points.

Redwater’s 8th grade B team defeated Queen City, 23-8.

Queen City fell to the Dragons in the 7th grade A contest, 22-20.

Alex Calicott led Redwater with nine points and Austin Smith chipped in eight points.

Clayton Whittenber­g led the Bulldogs scoring with 10 points.

Queen City’s 7th grade B squad defeated Redwater, 22-7.

Nick Burden and A’Christophe­r Wade, each dropped six points for the Bulldogs.

Pewitt sweeps Hooks

OMAHA-NAPLES, Texas—Paul Pewitt defeated Hooks in the 8th grade A game, 44-12.

Aubrey Neuman led the Lady Brahmas with 19 points and Sydney Gentry chipped in 10 points.

Lindra Burchette led the Lady Hornets with eight points.

The Lady Brahmas defeated the Lady Hornets in the 8th grade B game, 18-8.

Paul Pewitt won the 7th grade A game against Hooks, 47-15.

McKayla Jackson led the Lady Brahmas with 18 points and Adazh’a Cooper added 12 points.

The Lady Brahmas defeated Hooks in the 7th grade B game, 10-8.

Zyan Knox and Hally Taylor each scored four points for Pewitt.

Mustangs win 2 of 3

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Ann Elise Lindsay lit up the scoreboard for 13 points as Red Lick’s 8th A team defeated Hughes Springs, 29-19.

Amani Craver had eight points for the host Lady Mustangs.

Lauren Hardmen scored six points to lead Hughes Springs’ 8th B over the visiting Mustangs, 9-6. Delaney Edwards had four points for Red Lick.

Mary Scott scored four points, and Hughes Springs won the 7th A game, 10-8. Emma Henard had eight points for the visiting Mustangs.
