COACH BARRY NORTON’S COMMENTS: “It was a good ball game against a good football team. We did an excellent job defensively against those guys. We let one big play get by us and we missed a field goal there down the stretch. Offensively, we were able to scrap away some points and our kicking game was solid. The most telling statistic with teams that win, is that they most always win the turnover battle and the explosive plays. We wanted to make sure we won the battle for the turnovers and our kids made a few explosive plays for us.”

“There were very few teams that won on the road last weekend within the state. It’s obviously an advantage, in the future, we have to have high enough seeding to play our playoff games at home. I was really proud of our kids going on the road and getting a win. I knew going into the ball game, we would have to stop the quarterback. We neutralized his running and kept those guys to 14 points. I’m proud our kids fought and showed resiliency.”
